Whether it is the 20GB, 40GB, 60GB or 80GB PS3 makes no difference, liiekwse with the Arcade/Core, Pro/Premium or Elite 360. Any 360 or any PS3 is where the comparison matters as the consoles of the same type play the same games. With that sorted then it comes down to personal preference. The main factors for me (I have both consoles BTW) are the games themselves and to a lesser extent the controllers.I believe there are better FPS games in general for the 360 than the PS3, my favorite FPS is on the PS3 though (Unreal Tournament III, which will come out on 360 eventually). The online service, in my experience is better managed on the 360 but then you have to pay for it.Ultimately I'd say it's got to come down to what games you want to play. No good getting a PS3 if you really want to play HALO.
